Liquid Plasma
(Tomato Bisque)
What you'll need
5 Gallon Pot (T95 Engine compressor will work)
1 Immersion Blender - Strongly recommended
(If you only have a regular blender see the notes section)
Heating source.
64oz Vegetable Broth
(Can substitute Chicken broth/ chicken bouillon)
(If using bouillon, you'll need 8 cubes and 64oz water. )
4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 TABLESPOON Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 TABLESPOON Dried Basil
3 TABLESPOONS Minced Garlic
1 Pint Heavy Cream
2 Medium Yellow Onions
Chopped up
4 Celery Sticks
Remove Stems
Remove leaves
Cut into 1-inch sections
2 x 28-ounce cans Crushed Tomatoes
What to do
Add Olive oil to POT
Heat POT over Medium-High Heat for 3 minutes
Add Onions to POT
Add Celery to POT
Add Salt to POT
Add Pepper to POT
Add Cayenne to POT
Add Basil to POT
Cook 5 to 6 minutes until Onion is translucent
Add Garlic to POT
Cook 1 Minute, While Stirring
Add Broth to POT
Add Tomatoes to POT
Add Sugar to POT
Stir POT until well mixed
Bring POT to boil over High Heat
Reduce the heat of the POT To Medium- Low
Cover POT
Simmer for 1 hour.
Turn off heat
Blend
For IMMERSION blender
Make sure the IMMERSION blender's blades are completely submerged in soup!
Blend until smooth (Be Careful! The Soup is very hot!)
Add Heavy Cream
Mix 1 minute
Can use an Immersion blender on low to mix
Serve

BLENDING SOUP WITH REGULAR BLENDER:

Pour pureed soup into a pot or bowl.
Repeat with remaining soup.
